SANCTIONED: By the American Volkssport Association (AVA), a member of the International Federation of Popular Sports (IVV). Participants in this event may receive credit toward IVV awards.
CREDIT: Each walk can be done as many times as you like for event and kilometer credits. $3.00 must be paid for each event credit, one per day. $3.00 must be paid each time the course is walked for distance credit except that a trail may be walked twice on the same day for one fee. A single $3.00 can be paid on a daily basis for a single event and distance credit.
AWARD: IVV Credit only.
REFRESHMENTS: Water and restrooms are available at the Start/Finish. Water should be carried with you.
REGISTRATION/FEES: There is no pre-registration. The
start/finish functions will be self-service, on the honor system. The walk fee is $3.00 (includes IVV credit). Non-credit children under 12 are free. All participants must carry a completed Start Card and return it when finished.

ELIGIBILITY: These events are open to the public and all ages are welcome. Family participation is encouraged but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets are NOT allowed inside many establishments.

| EVENT #1 DESCRIPTION | College Station 4 Parks Walk (99822 2015/AVA Y1523) - The route (11 kilometers, 6.8 miles / 5 kilometers, 3.1 miles) (rating = 1A, easy) passes through 4 of College Station's prettiest parks: Wolf Pen Creek Park, Beachy Central Park, Bee Creek Park, and Lemontree Park. (STARTS JAN 1, 2016) College Station Texas A&M University Walk (103656 2016/AVA Y1357) - The route (10 kilometers, 6.2 miles / 6 kilometers, 3.7 miles) (rating = 1A, easy) is on the campus of Texas A&M University and includes Kyle Field (famous Aggie football stadium), Reed Arena, Bonfire Memorial, the Academic Building, and the Century Tree as well as other landmarks.
