WHAT: 10K/5K (6.2mi/3.1mi) walk, Event 110483

We will be enjoying the sights and sounds of Seabrook, located along
Galveston Bay in the southeastern corner of Harris County, as we
stroll through the City of Seabrook’s hike and bike trails. The
trail will feature several of the City’s parks, some of which are
featured on the Upper Coast portion of the Texas Parks and Wildlife’s
Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail, so those of you that are bird and
wildlife viewers, don’t forget your binoculars!
ELIGIBILITY/TYPE OF EVENT: Non-competitive, non-timed. Walk, jog or run at your own pace. It is open to all and families are encouraged to participate. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone participating MUST register and carry a Start Card and turn it in at the FINISH. This event normally will be held regardless of weather conditions.

STARTING POINT ADDRESS: 1900 N. Meyer Road, Seabrook TX 77586
Directions From Houston:
From I-45 South, take NASA Rd 1 exit 24, go east on NASA Rd 1 for 7.8 miles; cross Highway 146 (Bayport Blvd.) then slightly right; NASA Rd 1 turns into Second Street. Continue down Second Street to STOP sign at N. Meyer Rd., turn left, continue approx. .5 miles to Miramar Pavilion, 1900 N. Meyer Rd., turn right at Hammer St. and park in parking lot on the right.
START and FINISH TIMES: Start from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon ; finish by 3:00 pm.
REGISTRATION and FEES: No pre registration. Walk registration is $3.00 for everyone. Children under 12 are free if not walking for IVV credit. IVV books will be available for $6.00. Donations are appreciated. No refunds for failure to participate. NEW WALKERS: Purchase an AVA New Walker Packet for $5.00 at the Start Point.
